Nice sunny day. It did not seem cold. Just a good day for a run. I love running these long straight-a ways.

When I started out it seemed cold and windy but that went away as I warmed up and turned the corner. It was a nice sunny day, funny how it can so cold and so sunny.

Galesburg Road Runners Club Turkey Trot
The GRRC Turkey Trot begins in the parking lot in front of the Lake Storey Pavilion. This scenic 5k race, which is completely off road, is run on an asphalt trail. This hiking trail runs beside Lake Storey and through the woods and includes two footbridges, one of which goes over the Lake Storey dam. Since it is an out and back course runners are offered a fine opportunity to see the winners on the way back.
