Well, Just 3 Miles Running Journal 6:39 PM 8/27/2008

There were some kids on a front porch watching me running by so I waved to them. One young man said “How many laps is this man?” I smiled and said I was doing 3 miles tonight. He then said “Wow, great going dude!” I do not actually consider 3 miles very impressive. I had been working in the yard all day, removing a tree, so it was not my best of runs. I remember some time back another person asked if I had ran that day and I said “Well, just 3 miles”. They then said that they could not imagine running 3 miles. I guess people who do not run look at things different than we do.
